PRIME DE.SCALER

Product Description

PRIME DE.SCALER is developed for rapid and thorough cleaning of heat transfer surfaces by removing waterside scale and rust deposits. It is non-volatile and contains inhibitors to protect the newly clean surface from air oxidation. PRIME DE.SCALER has an unlimited shelflife.

USES

D.SKALER can be conveniently used for equipment which is generally subject to rust and scale build-up. Some common examples are: –

  1. Firetube and watertube boilers.
  2. Condensers, superheaters and economizers.
  3. Evaporators, steam and water lines, distillery equipment.
  4. Air-conditioning units, water jackets of internal combustion engines, etc.
  5. Cooling and piping systems.

APPLICATION

Method and time required for DE.SCALER, application depends mainly on character and thickness of rust and scale, size of the equipment to be cleaned, availability of circulation equipment, concentration of DE.SCALER, and presence if any of oily deposits on the rust and scale. However, following two general procedures are suggested.

  1. Fill the equipment to be cleaned with a solution ratio of 5 litres D. SKALERS + 5 Litres water, circulate for a period of 5-10 hrs, flush the system with fresh water to remove particulate matter and soluble salts. In case of motor car or other vehicle’s radiators, fill with the 5:5 ratio solution and start he engine to induce circulation. Switch off after half an hour. Repeat after 10 minutes and flush the radiator with fresh water. Preferably follow each of the above treatment types with our PASIVATOR solution for prolonged protection of the new clean surfaces.
  2. Where adequate circulation is not feasible, fill the system with 5:5 ratio solution of DE.SCALER and allow to keep for 6 hours, or overnight. Do not use DE.SCALER direct and undiluted for systems with small thickness materials. If result is not satisfactory, repeat the treatment.
Safety & Caution
Handle with rubber gloves and safety glasses. In case of contact with skin, eyes, flush with plenty of water and give a bicarbonate wash. Do not use with brass of brass of copper parts. We can supply you with a separate treatment for copper or brass systems on request.
